Based on a solid and comprehensive property law, partly a heritage of Ex-British colony status, ownership is straight forward and quite easy. You get your property control from the moment you sign the contract, a copy of which should always be deposited at the land registry office. You can sell; make rental agreements or whatever else you wish to do.
Freehold properties are passed to descendants even remained unattached from expiry dates or land rates that simply mean the property is yours forever.
